This event aims to bring together researchers in microbial ecology and physiology, environmental biotechnology and engineering working in the emerging field of phototrophic aggregation. The conference will cover topics from fundamental research to innovative applications in wastewater treatment and ecosystem restoration.
The conference is supported by IWA specialist groups in Microbial Ecology & Water Engineering (MEWE), Biofilms and Environmental Engineering Education (E3). It is hosted by IHE Delft Institute for Water Education.
The deadline for abstracts is now 30 April 2025 with notification of acceptance by 30 May 2025.
