 The application period for the Processes Travel Award is now open.
This award provides financial support to attend an international conference in the field of chemistry, biochemistry, biology, materials, or related process/systems engineering research in 2027, in order to give an oral presentation, present a poster, or both. The prize also includes a voucher to waive Article Processing Charges (APCs) for one submission in the Processes journal (subject to peer review, valid for one year). The competition is open to postdoctoral fellows or PhD students
Application Documents:
- Information on the conference the applicant is planning to attend and the abstract that will be submitted.
- Curriculum Vitae and list of publications.
- Justification letter describing the focus of the research (max 800 words).
- Letter of recommendation from the supervisor, research director, or department head, which also confirms the applicant’s status.
Applications will be assessed by an Evaluation Committee chaired by the Editor-in-Chief/Section Editor-in-Chief of Processes. The travel award will be CHF 500 for each winner, with two winners in total.
