A 1-year fixed-term job opportunity with University College London (UCL) has arisen as a result of the need for maternity cover.
The post involves teaching and research within the Bio-ID Laboratory at UCL Here East. The postholder will deliver scientific skills teaching, practical sessions, tutorials and workshops, while supporting interdisciplinary student projects and research. He or she will also develop teaching materials, provide feedback and assessment, oversee laboratory health and safety, and manage the day-to-day operation of the lab, including equipment maintenance, procurement and inventory management.
Applicants must a relevant postgraduate qualification or equivalent professional experience in biology, microbiology, biotechnology, biochemical engineering or a related discipline, with substantial hands-on wet lab experience.
