Mimica now has an opportunity for a creative and detail-oriented lab intern to join their R&D team, starting in November for 3 months, to support various food waste-reduction projects with customers. Located at the Hydrocolloids Research Centre, University of Chester.
Mimica aim to radically reduce unnecessary waste by creating a new standard for freshness information with their product, Mimica Touch, that tells you exactly when to consume food, according to the real temperature conditions it has experienced. It will provide more accurate information than the wasteful expiry dates based on worst case scenarios. They are preparing to launch their first product in the market with industry partners and are looking for someone to join their small lab team at the University of Chester, their collaboration partner, to help take critical first steps into the market.
