Taking place in just under 2 week’s time, this year’s Scottish Resources Conference promises to be an invaluable gathering of experts and thought leaders focusing on the milestone regulations and frameworks coming into play across Scotland. We’ll have two important voices in the Scottish Government speaking at the Conference, and available to answer your questions.

The conference will be welcoming be welcoming Charles Holmes, Head of Extended Producer Responsibility (EPR) at the Scottish Government, where he and his team lead on introducing EPR across a range of products and materials, with a significant current focus on packaging. Charles will be joining a panel session on Day 1, October 3, with Valpak, Whyte & Mackay and Food & Drink Federation Scotland. The panel will be discussing the roll-out of EPR, the role it is having in transitioning to a more circular economy and the impact it is having on existing business processes and structures.
Day 2 sees a keynote presentation from Ruth Innes of NHS Scotland Assure and Wendy Rayner from the Scottish Government who is the Head of Circular Economy for NHS Scotland. Focussing on how we can collaborate for an optimised eco-system, Ruth & Wendy will be bringing you real-life examples of business processes in practise.
