Up to Ā£150k (at 80% FEC) is available for this initial grant to engage with the full spectrum of interdisciplinary research and stakeholder communities and design a proposal for an Interdisciplinary Circular Economy Hub, with up to Ā£3.3m available at the second stage for the Coordinator to lead the integration Hub -transitioning to a more circular economy, where resources are processed with sustainability, waste minimisation and efficiency in mind, and where product lifecycles are optimised to generate more economic and social value before recycling and/or reuse.

IBioIC: Bioeconomy Boost 2019
Deadline: 18th October 2019
An Industry-Led Accelerator Programme for collaborative projects between companies and academia. Up to Ā£25,000 is available to support direct costs incurred by Academic Partners to be matched by cash/in kind contribution from Industry. Project proposals aligning to Scotlandās National Plan for Industrial Biotechnology are welcomed from companies demonstrating a strong presence in Scotland.

UKR&I: Industrial Decarbonisation Challenge
Deadline for Call for Champion: 22nd October 2019
This challenge will boost development of low-carbon technologies to increase competitiveness of key industrial regions and support the UKās drive for Clean Growth. A call will be launched on the 9th September to invite proposals for a Champion who will lead a Ā£19.9m Research and Innovation Centre. Up to Ā£100k will be available for the Champion to deliver these activities, build the consortium and develop a proposal for the Research and Innovation Centre.
