Dr Tao Lyu from Cranfield University, who leads EBNetās PFAS Working Group, says: āNew research shows that cleaning up PFAS contaminationĀ –Ā just here in the UKĀ –Ā could cost close to a trillion pounds. With strict safety limits for these āforever chemicalsā, the pressure is on to develop and roll out better, greener, and more affordable ways to remove and destroy themā.
