Green Stories readers and writers survey – and other GS news

Survey call-out!

Can you support the Green Stories Project by answering a short impact survey? This kind of research helps the Project to get funding and makes all the difference to running new projects and competitions. If you have been influenced by reading any of the books, or as writer or attendee at a Green Stories workshop, fill in the survey (and you’ll get a free mini-anthology to download as a thank you). Readers click here for the survey, and writers/other click here.

Summer reading

If you need fiction ideas for your summer break, why not look at the publications backlist and take a Habitat Press book on holiday!

Audiobooks now available!

Audio versions of The Assassin and Habitat Man, both by D. A. Baden, are now available to buy direct from Habitat Press and will shortly be available elsewhere

The Climate-Conscious Writers Handbook

A reminder that the Climate-Conscious Writers Handbook is out now! This interactive writers’ journal was created by some of the world’s leading climate storytellers – including Green Stories’ own Denise Baden – is designed to help writers of all genres weave climate themes into their work.

Update on the current Epiphanies Competition

The competition is open until 27 August and there are £1000 (€/$1200) worth of prizes to be won. All the information can be found here.

You can submit a story in one of seven categories. So far, consumption & waste is most popular, followed by nature, home & garden, and activism. Few have gone for food or transport so far. The organisers would love to see a diverse mix of topics and styles, so feel free to be creative.
