Resources, Conservation and Recycling (RCR) is running a set of webinars every second Thursday of the month at 10 am Pacific Time. Advance registration is required for entry (virtual auditorium capacity 500). For those who cannot attend, or want a second chance to watch, webinars are also recorded and available on RCR’s YouTube channel.
The next webinar will take place on 23 Oct 2025 at 18:00 UK and is entitled When biotechnology meets critical elements chain supply – a topic of interest to EBNet and Elemental Hub members. Sarra Magdouli of the University of Ottawa and Satinder Brar of York University, Canada will discuss how biotech methods like bioleaching and phytomining can offer cleaner, low-energy ways to recover critical metals from waste, helping to reduce toxic by-products and build more sustainable circular supply chains. For more details and to register see here.
