There were talks by Prof Frederic Coulon on Reviving bioremediation options and sustainability: Microbial enhanced biochar opportunities;  Prof Tony Gutierrez on Biochar for the microbial-enhanced remediation of contaminated soil; and WG Lead Dr Meredith Barr on Biochar and microorganisms: Spatial resolution and consensus priorities.
