Enhancing equality, diversity and inclusion in BBSRC funded networks – UKRI
This will launch on Monday 15th April, and is aimed at established networks currently in receipt of BBSRC funding. We encourage other stakeholders such as the learned societies or other networks who are not eligible to be project leads or co-leads, to be involved as project partners and collaborators. This funding opportunity is designed to increase engagement between members of minoritised groups with the goal of tackling underrepresentation within the biosciences. These funds can be used to provide peer support, networking and other related activities for your network members who identify as being part of a group currently under-represented within your network. BBSRC will fund 100% of the full economic cost and the total cost of your project can be up to £100,000.
BBSRC will be hosting a virtual launch webinar on Thursday 18th April 10-11:30am, where you can hear more about how to apply and ask any questions you may have. We will also have a short networking session for potential applicants and project partners at the end of the webinar, to encourage and facilitate collaborations.
