This BBSRC community engagement event comprises two on-line workshops that will bring together stakeholders with an interest in tackling food loss and waste in its broadest sense, underpinning a circular economy. Your input, expertise, and insights are sought to shape BBSRC’s and UKRIās strategic thinking that will enable investment in the UK in this important area .
This 2-part online event will allow you to share research and innovation challenges, opportunities, and aspirations to help us identify priorities for future investment. Participation will also give you the opportunity to connect with different parts of the wider food loss and waste community to support partnerships and future cross-disciplinary collaborations.
The two workshops will be interactive and participative and give you plenty of chances to help shape this important agenda. All attendees will be required to participate fully in the activities and breakout room discussions. In addition to the workshops there will be an online networking platform which will become the home of this community to give you opportunities to make new connections and collaborations, share perspectives, and ultimately create an active community of practice.
BBSRC intend to collate the outcomes of this event into a report that will contribute towards the development of potential future cross-disciplinary funding opportunities and programmes. Sign up to this event no later than Sunday, 5th November 2023 here.
If selected, BBSRC will be in touch with more information in the following week (6-10 Nov).
