The Biotechnology and Biological Sciences Research Council (BBSRC) is inviting applications for funding to support excellent investigator-led research across the breadth of its scientific remit.
 Applicants are encouraged to consider the relevance of the proposed work in line with the long-term research and innovation priorities set out in BBSRC’s strategic delivery plan 2022-25.
 Standard research grants are for researchers at eligible research organisations. Funding is available for up to 5 years. The full economic cost (FEC) of a project can be up to £2 million. BBSRC will fund 80% of the FEC.
