BBIA, HVB, the Biorenewables Development Centre and Biomass Connect are organising a workshop to investigate opportunities and challenges for UK bio-based supply chains to high value chemicals and materials.
The workshop will examine the potential of UK bio-based supply chains to enable economic growth, as well as to defossilise industry. It will explore the needs of key industry players, and consider the processes and mechanisms needed to develop effective new supply chains from biomass to product.
Through invited talks and discussion, it aims to unpick the major challenges and develop recommendations for progress in this area.
The workshop organisers have invited participants from industry, academia and government.
