The Biofilm Alliance is a Network for regulatory sciences, academic research and industrial collaboration that aims to foster innovation in biofilm management and control technologies.
The Alliance warmly invites responses to it Implementation Phase Survey, which aims to gather insights on key priorities, challenges and opportunities within the biofilm management field.
It is also running a set of workshops on the challenges of biofilm methods and regulatory guidance development for products, targeting biofilms in the built environment, food, water and industrial processes sectors. These workshops will take place on 1-2 July 2025 at Manchester Metropolitan University: for more details and to register see here.
The Alliance is a partnership between the National Biofilms Innovation Centre, Manchester Metropolitan University, Swansea University and Industrial Microbiological Services Limited.
