This year, the Environmental Biotechnology Research Colloquium was held at the John McIntyre Conference Centre at the University of Edinburgh, starting with a dinner at 7:30 pm on 22 January 2020, with the main conference from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. on 23 January 2020.

Society and Environment and Technoeconomics
Participants from academia and industry explored the challenges in these sectors of EB and how the Network can address them.
Early Career Researchers who presented a poster were eligible for a £100 travel voucher to support travel and accommodation expenses.
