This event features a panel discussion on the Stories from the Microbial World anthology with the editor and two contributing authors.
Stories from the Microbial World contains 23 stories in which microbes and microbiology play a prominent role. It was published as part of the Green Stories project led by Southampton University and includes the three winning entries from the Microbes to the Rescue competition sponsored by EBNet, as well as more stories from this and the Clean vs Green competition and other Green Stories publications.
Each panel member will give a short reading from one of their stories, followed by discussion of the themes of the contest and the futures explored by the stories in the anthology, as well as the writing and editing processes behind it.
