The Industrial Biotechnology Innovation Catalyst (IBIC) is a £5 million EPSRC place-based initiative that brings together north-west England’s industrial biotechnology community to accelerate knowledge exchange, skills development, and innovation. IBIC is led by Prof Aline Miller at the University of Manchester’s Institute of Biotechnology and co-created with Liverpool, Salford, Manchester Metropolitan and Liverpool John Moores universities and civic and business partners.
IBIC is hosting a webinar on Funding, Sustainable Manufacturing and the Importance of Partnership, promoting its dedicated funding stream to accelerate UK biotech research. The session is aimed at researchers who wish to exchange knowledge and create commercial impact through translation of their industrial biotech research.
The webinar will be followed by a panel session featuring leading voices from academia and industry on sustainable manufacturing and the importance of partnership.
