NNFCC, FREY Consulting and Perspective Economics have been awarded a project from the UK Government – Innovate UK (IUK), to carry out a ‘Sustainable Hydrocarbons for the UK Chemicals Industry Study’. The study aims to provide evidence that can support a Sustainable Hydrocarbons Vision – which sets out how the UK can position itself, in the context of a Net Zero future, to be internationally competitive and meet the growing demand for sustainable chemical products.
The initial study survey aims to gather information on (1) the UK’s current status (2) potential future scenarios for sustainable chemical production (3) transformation required to meet future sustainable chemical sector needs. Respond by 17 November 2023 to have your say: HERE.
