The International Water Association (IWA) has a range of publications freely available to read or download in electronic format. Books in particular can be eye-wateringly expensive [no pun intended] for the individual reader, so these are a very valuable resource.
A recent addition, published in September 2025, is Environmental Technologies to Treat Platinum Group Element Pollution: Principles and Engineering.
Another topical title from September 2024 is Resource Recovery from Industrial Wastewater through Microbial Electrochemical Technologies, co-authored by Dr Sovik Das who also presented his work in the 2025 webinar series organised by EBNet’s BES WG, led by Dr Sharon Velasquez-Orta.
Other titles relevant to EBNet include:
- Nature-Based Solutions for Urban Sustainability
- Nature-Based Technologies for Wastewater Treatment and Bioenergy Production
- Microbiological Sensors for the Drinking Water Industry
and the full Biological Treatment of Wastewater series which includes Basic Principles of Wastewater Treatment as well as titles on specific technologies.
