This scheme is for Bilateral Joint Projects supported by the Japan Society for the Promotion of Science (JSPS) and its UK Counterpart Funding Institution, the Royal Society. JSPS will cover the costs of the Japan team, and the Royal Society covers the UK team’s costs. The UK team leader must submit an application to the Royal Society. Applications submitted by one side only will not be accepted, and Japan and UK team leaders should therefore be sure that their counterpart submits a matching application.
