UK registered academic institutions, research and technology organisations or Catapults can apply for a share of up to £10 million to fund innovation projects with businesses. The project must align with one of eight sectors in the UK Government’s Industrial Strategy:
- Advanced Manufacturing
- Clean Energy Industries
- Creative Industries
- Defence
- Digital and Technologies
- Financial Services
- Life Sciences
- Professional and Business Services
To lead a project the organisation must be a UK registered higher education or further education institution, RTO or Catapult, and collaborate with a UK registered business with two or more full time employees
The business must contribute to the project’s costs.
