The Final Event for the EU-funded LIFE Mysoil project will explore some of the latest advances in mycoremediation, an innovative bioremediation technique that utilises fungi to degrade or remove contaminants from soil and water.
By harnessing the natural enzymatic capabilities of fungi, mycoremediation presents a sustainable and effective solution for tackling pollution and restoring ecosystems.
The conference will feature expert insights into its implementation, replicability, and potential for large-scale application. Attendees will gain valuable knowledge from case studies, discussions on fungal inocula and biodegradation monitoring, and presentations by invited speakers from leading institutions in the field.
