National Biofilms Innovation Centre (NBIC) Innovation Secondments are now available (FTMA 3)

NBIC has been successful in an application to the BBSRC for Flexible Talent Mobility Accounts (FTMA3) and have been awarded Ā£180k. Accordingly:
ā€¢ NBIC will extend the current FTMA3 application stage by two weeks. Applications must be submitted by 23:59 UK time on 14 November 2021.
ā€¢ The application process is simple and straight forward equating to 3 sides of A4 and five main questions with the longest requiring a maximum of 400 words.
ā€¢ Due to budgetary restrictions this funding must be spent by 31 March 2022.

FTMA3 is expected to support secondments and other activities that contribute to the mobility and development of researchers and technical staff. FTMAs are targeted at talented researchers and technical staff in industry and academia who have the potential to be the next generation of leaders within UK academic and industrial research. Activities proposed must align with one or more of the NBIC themes to Prevent, Detect, Manage and Engineer biofilms, and must also align to one or more of the challenges outlined within the UKRIā€™s Industrial Strategy Challenge Fund (ICSF).
