The next webinar in the series by our Bioelectrochemical Systems WG is a joint session with PhycoClub, with Dr Marin Sawa as the speaker.
Dr Sawa leads design-led biotechnology investigations, establishing her own research group as a NUAcT Fellow: Biotechnology at the Hub for Biotechnology in the Built Environment (HBBE) in the School of Architecture, Planning and Landscape at Newcastle University. Her work explores biology in action, particularly photosynthesis, to design ecosophical interfaces of technology and aesthetics for sustainable change from molecular to macro scale and from inside to outside.
HBBE is a joint initiative between Newcastle and Northumbria Universities, funded by Research England.
