The 12th and final International Conference on Renewable Energy Gas Technology REGATEC 2026 will take place from 19-20 May 2026 in Lund, Sweden. The conference is open for both in-person and online participation.
The conference is directly relevant to several EBNet working Groups, including AD, AF, BES and PISA, and to EBNet-funded work on Gas fermentations, CO2 biomethanation, New Biomethane and Bioelectrochemical methane production.
Topics in EBNet’s remit include:
- Anaerobic digestion, gas cleaning and upgrading
- Syngas fermentation
- Landfill gas
- Green hydrogen
- Renewable methane
The conference also covers linked areas including

Poster proposals that meet quality requirements are accepted on a first come, first served basis until the maximum number (32) is reached, or until 31 March 2026. Besides the scientific quality and industrial relevance REGATEC strives to get a good international mix of poster presenters and to respect EDI.
