Abstracts deadline: 3 Oct 2025
Conference: 7-10 July 2026, A Coruña, Spain
The call for abstracts is now open for WasteEng 2026, the 11th International Conference on Engineering for Waste and Biomass Valorisation.
The event covers thermal, chemical and biological processes. Conference topics include several that are especially relevant to EBNet’s remit, including:
- Topic 1: Resources and feedstock
- Topic 3: Biochar value chain and circular economy
- Topic 5: Biomass and waste to energy, fuels and chemicals
- Topic 10: Circular economy
With EBNet’s support, two members of EBNet’s Biochars for Pollution Prevention WG attended the WasteEng 2024 conference in Sendai, Japan and gave presentations. Dr Meredith Barr, who leads the WG, chaired a session and publicised the group’s activities: see here for more details of the trip.
