The Japan Society for the Promotion of Science (JSPS) is inviting applications for two types of Invitational Fellowship: Short-term for stays of 14-60 days and long term for stays of 2 to 10 months.
 These Invitational Fellowships provide the opportunity for researchers based outside of Japan to conduct collaborative activities with leading groups at Japanese universities and research institutions. Eligible applicants must be established researchers with an excellent record of achievements: the research field is not limited. Fellowships must start between 1 April 2027 and 31 March 2028. The same researcher can receive multiple JSPS Invitational fellowships.
Applications should be sent to JSPS Tokyo via a host institution in Japan. Please be aware that the host institution’s internal deadline may be earlier.
