Knowledge Transfer Partnership 2026-7 Round 4

Knowledge Transfer Partnership 2026-7 Round 4

UK registered academic institutions, research and technology organisations (RTO) or Catapults, all referred to here as Knowledge Base partners, can apply for a share of up to £12.5 million to fund innovation projects with businesses.

The aim of the KTP partnership is to bring new skills and the latest academic thinking to the business partner to deliver a specific, strategic innovation project. The Knowledge Base partner recruits a KTP Associate to work on the project. The Associate has the opportunity to lead a strategic development within the business, developing new skills and gaining valuable experience.

If you are a business and do not yet have a Knowledge Base partner, the Knowledge Transfer Adviser can help you to identify one.

For more details of this opportunity see HERE. Guidance on how to apply for a KTP is available here.
