Join us for the Royal Agricultural Society of Englandās New Year Lectures which will be held in London this January. The purpose of the evening is to provide a conversant and eye opening insight into the future of UK food production, whilst dispelling the myths which often dominate the headlines in the mainstream media.
The topic will be suitable for audiences from both farming and non-farming industries. The evening will commence with a lecture by Professor Jude Capper (ABP Chair of Sustainable Beef and Sheep Production, Harper Adams University) on ‘Are cows really killing the planet? The truths and myths behind British beef production’. This will be followed by a short drinks reception for networking and nibbles, after which Professor Simon Pearson (Agri-Food Technology, Lincoln University) will present ‘Feeding the planet with Agri-tech ā whatās next?’.
There will be an opportunity for questions after both lectures. The event will take place at the Savills Margaret Street office in central London, all welcome.
