Brief description: The work would fall within the scientific interests of the group, focused on bioremediation and bioavailability. Specifically, it is proposed to contribute to the AEI project entitled “Risk-based design of bioremediation of sites contaminated by hydrocarbons to deliver resilient soils: bioavailability” (Ref PID2022-139732OBC21). The 4-year project began on September 1, 2023, and proposes an improvement of bioremediation processes by modulating the bioavailability of contaminants (through chemotaxis, biosurfactants, adhesion) and using plants and soil amendments.
