Congratulations to our colleagues for their new paper in Renewable and Sustainable Energy Reviews on requirements and approaches for optimising anaerobic digestion on a site-wide basis.
The paper draws on work carried out for the AI for Net Zero project (EP/Y005600/1) led by Prof Michael Short, and with the Supergen Bioenergy Hub, and builds on insights and reflections from an EBNet-supported workshop with industry professionals on the need for more reliable tools to assist operators in decision-making.
EBNet is thus quietly proud that the authors therefore include members of our AI/ML WG and PISA WG (led by Prof Jhuma Sadhukhan); active ECR contributors including Lead Author Rohit Murali and fellow researchers Benaissa Dekhici and Amin Zarei; EBNet members Meshkat Dolat and Dongda Zhang; and our former Network co-Manager Angela Bywater who is also a core member of the AD WG. An impressive example of the synergies produced by networking activities!
