The Anaerobic Digestion and Bioresources Association (ADBA) has published it annual review of activities for 2025 – 6: an impressive tally of policy and advocacy work, industry support, training and other events. The report is available from the ADBA website here.
One of the organisation’s current key initiatives is Back British Biogas, a campaign calling on the UK’s Prime Minister and Chancellor to uplift the Green Gas Support Scheme, bring biomethane into the UK ETS, and give the sector a multi-year funding signal. ADBA is inviting companies and others to add their organisations as co-signatories, and then send personalised versions to the local MP. There are already over 140 industry signatures, and the deadline has been extended to 7 September 2026 to allow more businesses and other groups to sign.
