Biothane, part of the Veolia group, is looking for a student interested to have an internship/traineeship or similar for a period of 16-20 weeks full time (40 hrs per week). The student will operate the industrial scale pilot plant and analyse samples on site. Accommodation and transport is paid as well as a tax-free monthly stipend. The pilot trial for the Biobed Expanded Granular Sludge Bed (EGSB) technology will be located at a pulping paper site in the north of England.
The intern will be supported directly by a process expert from Biothane and monitored on site by a client Chemical Engineer in charge of the project.
The position is open to any registered student who is interested in gaining experience in this sector.
