We are excited to kick-off our activities through our online launch and career talk series āIn Conversation with Environmental Biotechnologistsā on Aug 14th from 13:00 ā 14:15 PM, BST.
The theme for this first career talk is “Journeys of Academic Pursuits,” where you will hear from two accomplished environmental biotechnologists, Dr Lucia Rodriguez Freire (Lecturer in Environmental Engineering, Newcastle University, UK) and Dr Sanjay Nagarajan (Lecturer in Chemical Engineering, University of Bath, UK). They will share their personal journeys, highlighting the pivotal role of education and research in nurturing critical skills, fostering innovation and overcoming challenges in the academic world.
The event will be moderated by Dr Alice Banks, a Research Associate in Life Sciences at Imperial College London.
