At EBNet we have funds set aside to support our Early Career Researcher members to engage with Industry, with up to £1,500 available for UK-based Placements. The value to our ECR members is clear – real industry experience and the chance to make contacts outside academia. For Industry members and businesses, even a short visit can be enough to spark new ideas, exchange the latest information and make fresh contacts within a relevant University. EBNet Placements are applied for, and made, direct to the ECR. All they need to find is a welcoming host for a few days/weeks.
