Dr Marin Sawaâs talk on Bioefficiency led to many questions and further discussion continuing well after the session ended. The concept can readily be adapted to other areas: a classic example of another technology warranting more holistic approaches to evaluate its multiple benefits is anaerobic digestion, while the subject of such assessment is integral to EBNetâs Theme 3 led by Prof Jhuma Sadhukhan. Many listeners will now be waiting for Dr Sawaâs forthcoming book on this topic, which will hopefully be ready for publication later this year.
