This year sees the fifth conference in the series RETASTE: Rethink Food Resources, Losses, and Waste. The conference covers a range of relevant topic areas: information on themes and keynote speakers is available on the website, with full details of the programme coming soon.
Angie Bywater said, “EBNet has a long-standing interest in food waste reduction and its environmentally responsible recycling through anaerobic digestion or anaerobic fermentation to produce higher value products, through our AD and AF Working Groups”. We also part-funded a study of on-campus food waste behaviour at Royal Holloway College, with support from Dr Mark Walker who leads the AD WG: see here for an outline of this work.
