TASK 37 is consulting on priorities for their next triennium (2025-28). The UK Task 37 lead, Prof Sonia Heaven, is canvassing the AD community for topics for inclusion in the new programme. - A review of regulatory obstacles to implementation of AD and of how different countries avoid or overcome them
- A review of risk prevention measures at AD plants (including past incidents and what has been learned from them)
- A primer for individuals and organisations considering AD implementation, covering aspects common to all plants (construction, health and safety, feedstock acquisition through to digestate use, etc)
- Current status and long-term sustainability prospects for methane emissions from landfill
- Carbon accounting options for AD plants – or a number of worked examples of carbon savings for types of AD plants.
Findings will be fed back to TASK 37 so to have your views placed to the forefront of the debate, please respond before 15 March 2024.
