The Circular Bioeconomy Joint Undertaking (CBE JU) has made a series of interactive dashboards available, covering programme statistics and country participation; key performance indicators; and project portfolio information.
The dashboards provide an accessible way to explore data on funded projects. They show the markets targeted by bio-based solutions, the investment directed towards them and how feedstocks, technologies, intermediate outputs and products connect.
Users can explore participation and funding by country, search for participants, and identify the projects to which they contribute. An interactive map shows the locations of flagship biorefineries and demonstration plants.
Dr Yue Zhang, who co-Leads EBNet’s Anaerobic Fermentation WG, said: “The dashboards are an excellent resource for everyone working in this field, including researchers, project partners, stakeholders and policymakers: they make it much easier to access and explore programme data, understand the current state of the art, benchmark activities and identify opportunities for future collaboration. I strongly recommend them, especially to everyone with an interest in bio-based products from anaerobic fermentation and bioelectrochemical systems”. The dashboards will also be of use to EBNet members in other groups, including Process Integration & Sustainability Assessment (PISA WG).
