IoW Lunch & Learn: Circular Economy in the Water Sector

Date: 30 June 2026, 12:30-13:30 online

The Institute of Water (IoW) is hosting an online Lunch & Learn session with Dr Tom Arnot on the intersection between water management and circular economy principles.

The session will start with a concise overview of the ideas behind circular strategies, then move on to how the UK water sector is currently approaching them. From innovative case studies to lessons in system design, Tom will explore how circularity can be actively woven into water systems and adjacent sectors. The session will also unpack the vital role of research, collaboration, and policy and how these are critical to driving progress.

This event may be of particular interest to several EBNet WGs, including AD, AF and PISA WG members
