Survey Responses

EBNet is involved in responding to consultations and surveys within our remit. If members wish to get involved, add information or comments to our responses before they go out just email us. We also encourage all our members to get directly involved by sharing their own responses as individuals with relevant expertise and experience to offer! You can see our evolving draft responses below in advance of submission.

Videos

The topic of in-situ biomethanisation (where electrolytic hydrogen is injected into an AD plant) straddles both the EBNet remit – engineered microbial systems – and the Carbon Recycling Network – high methane content biogas. This video, recorded at AD & Biogas 2020 and courtesy of the AD Bioresources Association, shows Emeritus Professor Sonia Heaven presenting research carried out on the technology. Here, she also outlines the challenges and opportunities in Environmental Biotechnology that the Network is working to support.
